The place where our spiritual and earthly potential unite. This is the fourth chakra, the Anahata Chakra.
It is located right in the middle of our chest, where the tree earthly chakras Muladhara, Svadhisthana and Manipura; encounter the tree spiritual ones Vishuddha, Ajna, and Sahasrara.
The chakras are immensurable founts of energy. When open, they can free our maximum potential and align us spiritual, mental and physically.
Our chakras are located along our spine. From the very bottom, at our coccyx to the crown of the head. They are pictured as spirals, shining because of the Prana they contain, which is the vital energy.
Each of them has a specific function, and act in a determined way. Anahata is located in the central channel of the spine, near the heart. And is related to our capacity to love and be loved, with kindness, detachment, balance, calmness, and serenity.
This chakra is represented by a lotus flower with twelve petals. In the center, there’s a smoky region where two triangles intersect. These represent the union of female and male. More specifically, the Supreme Being (Purusha) and the mother nature (Prakriti).
Its color is green. By surrounding ourselves with this color, we help our Anahata chakra to open. This way we can live happier, surrounded by love, and in peace with ourselves and others beings.
