Practice Anahata Yoga with a small group in an idyllic location in Antwerp.

For those who want to  immerse in the Anahata Yoga path (of realizing Samadhi through awakening Anahata, the multidimensional energetic heart.) This series will cover the physical, psychological, energetic, psychic and spiritual dimensions of the practice. It will embrace both shadow work and light work.

Each immersion covers different topics of practice. Some aspects will overlap because the practices are holistically interconnected.  Immersions will follow a  structure of, inner intention setting, self inquiry, floor warm ups, philosophy, breath work-chanting, dancing asana, deep stretch, 30+min deep meditation (nidra) and optional ‘homework’. Lessons will be informed by contemporary science but not limited by it.
Yoga mats are available, you may also bring your own.
The class meditation ends at 12:30, but you are welcome to continue your meditation till 13:30.

*Individual immersions will be canceled if the minimum number of participants is not reached. You will receive a full refund.

Sushumna Nhadi, nadi (energy meridian) network, Anahata hands, 5 prana vayus (flows of energy) 5 sheaths, chakras. Kundalini. Body-energy-mind-astral-spirit system.

. Shiva-Shakti : Heaven-Earth. Sun and moon.
philosophy: Gait, rhythm, numbers (numerology) structural integrity, feet, leg bhandas. connection to nature earth. The bhandas (internal locks) and the granthis (internal/psychic blocks) 
practice: earth kundalini connection in standing poses, deeply stretch feet legs, japa mala meditation. chandra namaskar (moon salutation) mantra. earth nurishment nidra

3 September  Shiva Shakti – the lovers dance and being the breath musician.
philosophy:
Yogic breath, pranayama.
Polyvagal theory(heart coherence) and the 3 gunas. practice : Breath stretches and types of breathing for types of states. Anahata breath with bhandas. Flying warrior dances. breath nidra
homework : Always breathe through your nose if you can.

1 October – Shiva – Shakti : Ida – pingala spiral
philosphy: fascia meridians, spirals, geometry, yantra. water’s anomalies. lymph massages . energetic cleansing and protection. blood.
practice: floor twists, leg bhandas, waterwheel dances.
homework: water intention, trataka candle gazing

We slow down the movements, focusing on relaxing and restorative postures, creating harmonizing tonal vibrations, stimulating heart coherence and the ventral vagus nerve for stress relief. Finishing things off with a 20 min deep meditation and body scan.
